Common questions

What are TMUA community papers?
Practice papers written by tutors, teachers and students rather than by the exam board. They follow the same shape as the real TMUA — two papers of twenty multiple-choice questions, seventy-five minutes each — and exist because the number of official past papers is small and runs out quickly.
Are they free?
Yes. All 72 papers on this page are free to sit, from all 29 contributors, with no account needed to browse them. Each is credited to whoever wrote it and links back to their own site where they have one.
How good are community papers compared to the real thing?
They vary. Some are close to the real standard and some are harder or easier than any real sitting. Every community paper on tmua.io carries a realism rating, a score for how closely it resembles the post-2024 exam, so you can start with the ones that feel most like the real thing.
Do the community papers come with solutions?
Many do. Where a contributor published worked solutions they are shown alongside the question after you finish, and where they published a solution sheet for the whole paper that is linked instead. Everything is marked automatically either way.
