Sit them the way you will sit the real one
The TMUA moved on screen in 2024. Working the PDFs on paper still teaches the maths, but the exam itself is a timer, a flag button and a review screen, and those take getting used to. Every paper above runs inside the tmua.io simulator, a replica of the Pearson VUE interface, with 75 minutes on the clock per paper.
Eight sittings go quickly
When they run out, the community library has 65 more free papers from 27 named contributors, rated by students for difficulty and quality. MAT Section A papers from 1996 to 2025 are on the site too, and cover similar ground to Paper 1. If you want to know what you are aiming at, see what a good score takes.
